DOA Product Policy - 90 Days 1. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Product Definition: - A product is considered Dead on Arrival (DOA) if it is non-functional or exhibits significant defects upon delivery or within the 90-day period following the purchase date. - The customer must report the DOA status to Rugged Tablets (NZ) Limited (referred to as "RUGGEDTAB") within a reasonable time frame, preferably within 7 days of receiving the product. 2. Return Process: - To initiate a return for a DOA product, the customer must contact the retailer or RUGGEDTAB'S customer service department within 90 days of the purchase date. - The customer service representative will provide instructions for returning the product, including any required documentation or return authorisation. 3. Return Options: - Upon verification of the DOA status, the retailer or manufacturer may offer the customer one of the following options: a. Replacement: A new, identical product will be provided to the customer. b. Repair: The defective product will be repaired by authorised service technicians. c. Refund: A full refund will be issued to the customer for the purchase price of the DOA product. 4. Return Conditions: - The DOA product must be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and warranty information. - The customer may be responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the DOA product, unless stated otherwise in the retailer's return policy. 5. Warranty Coverage: - If the DOA product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, the terms and conditions of the warranty will apply to repair or replacement of the product. 6. Exceptions: - The DOA product policy does not cover damage caused by mishandling, misuse, or unauthorized modifications by the customer. - The retailer or RUGGEDTAB reserves the right to deny a return if the product does not meet the criteria for a DOA status. This policy is subject to change and may be modified by RUGGEDTAB without prior notice. Customers are advised to review the specific DOA product policy of the retailer or manufacturer from whom the product was purchased for detailed information and instructions on returning a DOA product.
